The League of American Bicyclists just announced the Fall 2012 recipients of Bicycle Friendly Community rankings, and our 2013 spring tour opening weekend host, Lakeland, was awarded a Bronze.  Congratulations Lakeland!!  We look forward to touring in one of Florida’s newest Bronze level award winners.

That’s right, there are a few other FLA winners, congratulations also go to Miami (Bronze) and Venice (Silver) for their new designation and a “Woohoo!” to Orlando and St. Petersburg for renewing their status (each Bronze).
