Becky, just wanted to let you know how much fun I had on Bike Florida this year. I do believe it was one of the top 3 bike trips I’ve ever had. I think I’m going to make Bike Florida my yearly bike tour. The ride from Appalachicola to Medart was absolutely spiritual! I can’t express how impressed I am with your organization’s handling of the detours resulting from the fires. When I told my husband about them over the phone, he couldn’t imagine how you dealt with that and got everyone to the next overnight without a hitch. Kudos to you and all your associates for a well-planned, well-executed, beautiful and fun, fun, fun bike tour. See you next year!

Thanks, Becky. I am more than a little worried, because I am NOT conditioned to ride 140 miles a week. However, I figure I’ll do my best, try not to hold anyone else up, and hopefully finish this ride within the time allotted! I’ve NEVER done a bike road trip before, camping out and all. This will be the most I have ever ridden in one day (68 miles will definitely be a challenge, as 40 on flat land is my “best” ride yet), but if I don’t do it now, I may never do it. At my age (57), I figure it’s now or never. Looking forward to meeting you and all the other ride coordinators!

I loved your trip. So glad you were able to do this before March. Looking forward to the tour. I hope to take alot of pictures. I would have liked to have ridden with you. Sounds like fun. See you in March.

Wow – it really looks to be a nice ride this year! Thanks for checking the route by bike – that is really important! 2011 was my first Bike Florida ride and I am hoping to join you at the end of March if my schedule permits. By the way, are you wearing the official Bike Florida socks in the last picture? If so, I want a pair!!
